From Chaco, a hot, humid lowland area along Colombia's Pacific coast. Los Nemus Del Pacifico is a unique salsa band from Colombia led by singer Alexis Murillo.

Throughout his singing career, Alexis Murillo has penned songs about women ("yo necesito la novia...que tenga cuerpo guitarra": "I need a woman with a body like a guitar"), going back to Africa ("Del Chaco pa'l Congo...al Africa me voy": "From Chaco to the Congo...I'm going to Africa") and often times songs about children as our future.
